A few items I picked up during an inspiring week in New York.
This casual vintage look features a dusty rose sweater paired with tomboyish jeans and sneakers.
Sweater: Beacon's Closet, Williamsburg, $13
Jeans: Cheap Monday, Beacon's Closet, Williamsburg, $11
Shoes: Urban Outfitters, birthday gift
Necklace: Antique Mall, Lawrence, Kansas, $2
Electric purple gives this retro silhouette a fun twist.
Dress: Century 21, New York City, $25
Tights: Urban Outfitters, birthday gift
Shoes: Payless, sample from work
Belt: Thrifted, Madison, Wisconsin, $1
Necklace: Beyond the Door, Lawrence, KS, $6
I've been on the lookout for some relaxed fit trousers. These aren't perfect: they're more structured than I would like, and I'm too short to wear cropped pants. A good start though.
Shirt: TJMaxx, $6
Pants: H&M, NYC, $10
Shoes: Patricia Field for Payless, sample from work

If you want "relaxed fit trousers," visit me in France! I see them for sale everywhere (and I think they've been in here longer, too - my mom came back with some last summer and said that all fashion comes to France first).
Katy-______, these prices are in dollars! Je comprends pas! Please list them in a real currency, like Euros. Merci beaucoup.
ooh, i LOVE those relaxed fit trousers! I want a pair!!!

If you live somewhere with an H&M, they probably have them now! There were tons of them at both H&Ms I went to in New York. They come in black and turquoise, and they're 70% off. Go get some!
wow, I never knew beacon's closet had such cute clothing. I should go sometime, it's only five minutes away from my apt. . .
anyway, hope you liked new york, even though the weather was kinda shitty!
