As you can probably infer from the name of this blog, I'm completely landlocked. While Kansas lacks expansive sandy beaches and salty ocean waves, we do have some nice lakes. A lake trip with friends this past weekend gave me the opportunity to sport my "beach" style. I started with my favorite swimsuit. I'm all about one-pieces. Though I've had this one for a few years, I still love it and can't stop wearing it. Some short shorts served as a cover-up, and I topped it all off with vintage sunnies, a head scarf and my flat glads.
Swimsuit: Target, $30 // Shorts: Younique Jeans, TJMaxx, $16 // Sunglasses: Vintage, thrifted, $5 // Scarf: Vintage, from my grandma // Shoes: Old Navy, $20
That is such a nice bathing suit! Ilove your glasses and glads!!!!
ReplyDeleteyou look fabulous! that is a great suit!
ReplyDeleteGreat bathing suit! Is it cut low on the hips? I bought a rather revealing one piece last year and I haven't worn it yet because it's a little sexy. Yours is much better, attractive yet sensible...

This suit is cut pretty low on the hips. I agree, I like a suit that is both sexy yet provides some coverage. That's one reason I like open backs on swimsuits and other garments as well. It's a less risque way to show some skin. :)
Still looks lovely. The Potomac here is not exactly swimming material, unless you like life-threatening diseases. I love your shorts with those sandals. I need a better pair of black shorts, i believe...
