Lakeside Chic
As you can probably infer from the name of this blog, I'm completely landlocked. While Kansas lacks expansive sandy beaches and salty ocean waves, we do have some nice lakes. A lake trip with friends this past weekend gave me the opportunity to sport my "beach" style. I started with my favorite swimsuit. I'm all about one-pieces. Though I've had this one for a few years, I still love it and can't stop wearing it. Some short shorts served as a cover-up, and I topped it all off with vintage sunnies, a head scarf and my flat glads.

That is such a nice bathing suit! Ilove your glasses and glads!!!!
you look fabulous! that is a great suit!
Great bathing suit! Is it cut low on the hips? I bought a rather revealing one piece last year and I haven't worn it yet because it's a little sexy. Yours is much better, attractive yet sensible...
Thanks guys!

This suit is cut pretty low on the hips. I agree, I like a suit that is both sexy yet provides some coverage. That's one reason I like open backs on swimsuits and other garments as well. It's a less risque way to show some skin. :)
Still looks lovely. The Potomac here is not exactly swimming material, unless you like life-threatening diseases. I love your shorts with those sandals. I need a better pair of black shorts, i believe...
