I tried to minimize the frump factor with a tube top (which is actually an old leotard that I went after with scissors) and some platform wedges. The top doesn't stay up at all. I should probably find a legitimate tube top rather than trying to DIY.
Despite its shortcomings, I'm loving this leggy look.
Top: Thrifted leotard, $2 // Pants: Vintage, thrifted, $1 // Necklace: Vintage, thrifted, $4 // Belt: Vintage, thrifted, $1 // Shoes: alice + olivia for Payless
Wow! An $8 look. That might be a first. (The shoes were a sample from work).

Adorable. Gosh I wanna be you shopping friend. You have such great style. Do you have any tips for thrift shopping?
i LOVE this look! when you get them tailored, be sure to show a front/back fit!
Thanks guys!
My tips for thrifting are:
-Be patient
-Go often
-Look through lots of stuff (because that's the only way to find the gems)
-Keep an open mind...usually thrift items are cheap enough that you can take chances

Lots of comments because you look super hot...seriously. Yes, I say get the pants tailored but they do look good as is too. And the top is so cute... High fives all around for you!!
The last few posts, including this one, have been really cool! You are on a roll. Great-looking stuff.
wow this is great! I've never really been a fan of high waisted pants but you've inspired me to get one now :)I love how you paired it with a tube top too! fabulous!
The pants look like the ultimate pair of tapered trousers! ...and stolen from a parental...all the better!
I love the pants!!! they look really expensive! I have such a hard time finding pants that look like this at thrifts!
This is so fashionable and on trend. It looks like perfection in photos, but I know what you mean about having a DIY not quite be wearable. I find myself constantly tugging and adjusting outfits, and then they're not really worth it or wearable.
