The Final Challenge

I was excited to work on the final challenge of the Bluefly / StyleList America's Most Stylish Blogger contest because it was indeed a challenge. The leggings we received aren't exactly my usual style, but I was very intrigued by them. The black, white and gray tie-dye looks almost like marble and creates an interesting textural effect. It was refreshing to work with something I probably would not have picked out myself.
The judge didn't like the proportions and thought there was too much going on. I swear, I used to under accessorize... perhaps I'm overcompensating? What do you guys think of the look?

    Too much going on?? If anything, I would have said the opposite. I think you look great and well structured!

    God, I love those leggings. And I definitely disagree with the judges. You've done a great job throughout this entire challenge and this look is no exception. Bravo. :)

    i think i would have left out the hat, but i love the big, silver necklace with the marbled leggings. either way, you are doing a FANTASTIC job and i'm for sure voting for you! :)

    Hmm, the only thing that I think makes it seem a bit too busy is the shoes and gone with some kind of simple flat, but then again you do love your heels!

    I think in combination with the hat and the shoes makes it too much, but I like the hat with the masculine blazer.

    I like this look! The hat is awesome. Personally, for myself, I would have changed the shoes for something less clunky, and then: game on!

    But hey, style is subjective and you look great! So tell that judge to *blank* off! hehe, just kidding...

    This look is so well put together. I definitely don't think there is too much going on. If you took anything off the look just wouldn't be as bold. Looks great.!
