New Loot

Shirt: Vintage, thrifted, $1 // Cardi: Courtesy of Fossil // Shorts: TJMaxx, $13 // Leggings: Target, $5 // Shoes: F21, gift

As you probably already know, I don't really pay attention to designer fashion, but I fell hard for these Chloe boots when I saw them on other blogs.

I requested a slightly reminiscent pair for Christmas (these from Forever21) and couldn't wait to build an outfit around them. In keeping with the sporty feel of the booties, I went for a tomboyish look.

  2. Cute! But the real question is: are they painful? I have been resisting F21 shoe purchases, because I expect them to feel like walking around on bricks with some stapled on straps.

  11. Let me get back to you guys on how comfortable the shoes are. With all the snow, I haven't been able to walk in them enough to know. They seem comfortable -- the faux leather is soft, they are wide so they don't pinch your toes and they have a platform, which makes the height manageable. We'll see how they do walking a long distance...

  22. Oh, I've had my eye on those shoes too! They are adorable! How are Forever 21 shoes in your opinion? I'm a 7.5 so what deters me is that they don't sell half sizes.. advice?

  23. Brittany -

I don't own many pairs of F21 shoes, but this style definitely runs big! I usually wear a 6 or 6.5, so I wasn't sure which size to get. I got the 6, and they're a bit too big! If you're a 7.5, I bet a 7 would be perfect, at least for this shoe.
