Better Late Than Never


Blazer: Vintage Levi's, thrifted, $1.50 // Shirt: H.I.P. via TJMaxx, $12 // Skirt: Vintage, thrifted, $6 // Shoes: Seychelles, $30

I came this close to giving up on my local Goodwill. The selection had been so poor for so long, that I went from checking in at least once a week to not going at all. On a whim, I decided to try my luck once again last weekend. Though I didn't find much, I did score this high-waisted leather mini that fits like a glove. It would have been great to have three months ago, but I'll take it!

    i've had the same experience thrifting. sometimes it's good to take a break from a place for a while to wait for them to get more inventory in.

    Fantastic! This outfit is awesome. You look great. And the skirt fits you great. I actually have a photo up of myself in a high waisted leather skirt currently!! I think this is the perfect season for donning leather and tights!

    love the tights. also, black with navy seems to be becoming a thing. i did it yesterday and i think i remember rebecca (clothes horse) doing it a few weeks ago. rules are made to be broken i guess.

    Great skirt! I just got one similar to that from Forever 21... I still love Goodwill but the ones near me are much smaller and the selection isn't great so I haven't been going as often either. Plus, I can often score something for just as cheap at Forever 21 :S

    i get frustrated with my goodwill frequently because the prices are so dang high! i understand it's for charity, but really, the people who shop at goodwill do so for a reason!

    Gah! Our Goodwill DOES suck. I went this past weekend as well and scored a perfect pair of low-top black Chucks in my size as well as an oversized black and white striped sweater. Your leather skirt was quite the find!
