Like Ice Cubes in an Ocean

Jacket: Collection via TJMaxx, $30 (purchased with gift card) // Shirt: UO, $10 // Shorts: Old! // Leggings: Poof! via TJMaxx // Boots: alice + olivia for Payless, sample from work  // Necklace: Gift

After weeks of perpetual snow-covered ground, it slowly started to melt away over the weekend. While the winter wonderland was fun and beautiful at times, it's nice to see patches of grass and mud again, to leave the house without covering every bit of skin. I wore this grungy get-up while bumming around downtown on Saturday.

  5. Isn't it nice to see less slush? Those black tights and boots are fierce, but it'll be nice to see you be less despondent-looking!

  14. Beautiful! I love that you shop at TJMaxx. I get the best stuff from there. Really cool and unique pieces too, that none of my friends have because they never shop there. And then they always end up asking me where I got my ___?

I tried to wear plain black pumps to work the other day, coming from a teeny tiny small town everyone just stared.. haha.
I wish I lived in a place that could be referred to as a city.

You have a beautiful smile Katy, I'd love to see it more :)
