Quintessential Kansas

Top: Old Navy, $6 // Shorts: Vintage, thrifted, $4 // Belt: Vintage, thrifted, $1 // Sandals: Vince Camuto, thrifted, $4 // Hat: Payless

Well, it's officially summer, and this weekend truly felt like it. On Friday evening, I watched a baseball game with co-workers. I'm not really into sports, but it still felt good to sit in the stadium and take in the sights and sounds. Saturday was spent floating on a pond and drinking wheat beer with friends. Then we went bowling, and I scored 120 -- I believe my highest ever! It's not that high, but I was excited nonetheless. For some reason I love bowling despite not being very good at it. A cook-out complete with s'mores rounded out the wonderfully summery weekend on Sunday.

Another great outfit. I love the assymetrical top, really makes it feel like summer and the pop of blue from your belt brings it all together for me. I'm awful at bowling for 120 sounds amazing to me! Jealous of your weekend, sounds like you had a great time.

I love the top (I own it too, so I'm a little biased).
I suck at bowling in real life but kick some serious butt at Wii bowling :)

I really like your shoes :)

And 120 sounds like a great score to me (to professionals it may not be)...I'm lucky if I break 90, HA

But what about the rain on Saturday?! Actually, I kind of loved how right after it was gone, the sky turned a beautiful blue again, and there were plenty of hours left to do really fun stuff.

Beautiful outfit, especially the top. And we don't need to be good at something to enjoy it. I love tossing a baseball around and will never play in the major league!

Bowling is one of those sports that's fun to play regardless of how bad you are! ;)

I love your shirt; so feminine. You're lucky, you can totally pull off the one-sleeved... thing.
