Easy Breezy

Shirt: Urban Outfitters, $10 // Shorts: Old? // Hat: Urban, $5 // Bracelet: Forever 21, $8 // Shoes: Courtesy of Famous Footwear

You know how much I love shoes, so when Famous Footwear asked if I wanted to team up, I jumped at the chance. Asked to select a few transitional fall styles, my mind tended toward boots, but I was also drawn to these flats. The ankle straps are reminiscent of a summer sandal, while the ballet flat design is totally fall-friendly. I can wear them now with shorts or sundresses and later with tights as an updated mary jane. For today's look, I went for an edgy bohemian vibe with a slouchy button-up, cut-offs and a hippie hat.

  1. Hat! I would kill for a big, wide-brimmed, floppy, yet somewhat-shaped piece like that one! Jealousy!

  2. I ADORE this look. Beautiful. And now I feel a compulsion to go buy that brown floppy hat I did not buy. Now look what you have done?

    But seriously, amazing.

  5. Before I read a single word I was drawn to those shoes as the focal point of the outfit. They're fantastic! I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with them next.

  6. Stunning. Those flats remind me of a pair I have been craving from a local (to me) South African brand (http://www.tsonga.com/ladies/products-ladies-sa.html).

Other than that, I love this outfit! It makes me long for Summer!

  9. Absolutely lovely outfit! I am aching to wear a flowy silk top with jean shorts, but it's been over 90 degrees most of this month where I live :( Next time the temps drop, watch out!

  14. Those shoes are adorable. I love your bohemian take on the whole outfit. I agree you could totally "nerd" those up this fall with tights and some school uniformesque plaid. Adorable!

  16. Love the blouse, and those flats are so cute! I love ankle-strap flats, but they are so hard to pull off on my short legs. Bah. They look so great on you though.
