Dress: Forever 21, $20 // Sweater: Old Navy via Salvation Army, $4 // Boots: Forever 21, $26 // Scarf: On loan from Kate E. Burke
I have another beautifully detailed handmade scarf to show off
today! This one by LOLA artist Kate E. Burke of Honeytree Gallery. Inspired by the bright embroidery, I pulled out a bold orange dress that I've
only worn once before. I thought I didn't like it anymore, but layering
it up in a new way gave me a fresh
perspective.
Happy, happy Friday! What are you doing this weekend? With party-filled weekends on the horizon, I want this one to be low-key and productive with chores, Christmas shopping and plenty of rest. Also, keep an eye out for my Thrifty Gift Guide!

ReplyDeleteThe colors, the COLORS, my eyes are buggin' in the best way possible. I love how subtle your makeup is, but it still pops. The scarf with that bright orange dress is very fun, too. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's remarkable how much of an old person I feel sometimes, because it's the weekend and all I want to do is walk around in a warm blanket and blog...

ReplyDeleteThey are comfortable. They don't have much cushion, but the heel is quite low, so I can walk / stand in them without a problem. Would definitely recommend!
Big fan of the bold colours!
ReplyDeleteCheck out our Circus photoshoot, we're going for a similar vibe!

Something about the brightness of your dress with the iciness of the cardigan and scarf in front of that blue makes a perfectly, wonderfully winter outfit! Great look.
