Ahhh, a good old-fashioned, properly photographed outfit post. It's been too long. I really wish quality photography wasn't an essential part of fashion blogging, but it undoubtedly is. It seems like good outfits can be all but ruined by a poor photo, while mediocre outfits can shine with excellent shots. I'm not sure where this outfit falls on the spectrum, but I like it. Above all else, I was just excited to get pictures outside during daylight hours. What an accomplishment!
To show off my new boots, I went with the trusty tights and shorts combo. Any inhibitions about wearing red socks with green boots quickly disappeared when I realized Christmas is a mere nine days away! I'm super excited but so not ready for the big day. How about you?

I definitely agree that a good photographer/camera makes a big difference when you are fashion blogging.

So not ready. So not ready. So not ready.
I thought the red socks with green boots were just rounding out the warm color palette you started with the sweater. Did not even think Christmas.
You defintely said exactly how I feel about photos right now!! This look is great, still love the new hair!!
Love those shoes with those socks! Seychelles is my favorite.

Lovely boots! They are a great color!
I can't wait for Christmas. I love every single second of this holiday. :)
Great boots!
I just got two new pairs of Seychelles from Gilt! Black Fiddles (love the brown ones I already had) and Brown Blimey Oxfords. That holiday credit was very cool.
What a cozy outfit. You look super snuggly.
ahhh i got those off of Gilt too, with credit! don't you love them?! wearing them in a post soon!
Yay for shorts in winter - I wore mine today. Loving your boots and they look particularly lovely with the pop of red from your socks. Very seasonal.
look at how cute you are! seriously, i hope this doesn't come across as creepy, because i'm actually not a creepy person, but this outfit is fabulous, and i have to see more!
and also...our styles are different, but i started a little fashion blog of my own, documenting my daily outfits (http://adayinlifetoo.blogspot.com). i'd love it so much if you stopped by if you get a minute. consider it a christmas gift to a stranger. :)
either way, have a great week.
