Shirt: Old Navy, $6 // Skirt: Urban Outfitters, $10 // Belt: Thrifted, $2 // Boots: Forever 21, $30
After an especially casual weekend, I wanted to get all cleaned up for Monday morning, so I reached for this girly little skirt. To tone down the frilly factor, I paired it with a neutral button-up. It proved to be a well-balanced look to start the week off right.

Wonderful mix. I do love the way the skirt and shirt play off each other and what a skirt it is! So pretty!
I have been reading this blog for over a year and BAM! Today was the first time I was like... I must comment. (Not that I don't enjoy it the rest of the time!)
It's just a great outfit! Matchy without being too matchy-matchy.
:)

You look lovely! Way to fight the Monday blues :]
I absolutely LOVE this skirt!
a good outfit is like breakfast: If you skip it in the morning, you just won't feel right the rest of the day.
I wish I could find such a great urban outfitter's score! You look very well put together. Love the colors!

Hey I love this! I have that same skirt (however I paid full price for it) and it's up front in my "things I never wear but wish I did section" for lack of better ideas currently, so I may be recreating your look here sooner rather than later.
super cute! I love the ruffles
I love the sweet mauve color of the skirt!
I absolutely love this entire look, particularly the skirt. And for $10?? Amazing.
Keep up the great work! I love checking your posts daily.

Plaid and frills - was there ever such a righteous combination?! My favourite of your recent outfits, perhaps.
