When I put this outfit together, I figured it would be a throwaway weekend look -- nothing special. Looking back, though, I really like it for some reason. Perhaps it's helped by my shades, which make me think of the delightful Darjeeling Limited. They give me a hint of Peter's effortless cool without the splitting headaches.

That is a great movie! And you do look effortlessly cool here..and cozy in your sweater cardi too! ;)
Your outfit is super.
The outfit is simple, but the pieces work so well together, it's totally not a throwaway outfit. I really dig it, and LOVE the sunglasses!
This outfit is not a throwaway--it is super cool. The jeans are great, the sweater is great, the sunglasses are great... You look awesome.
Fantastic outfit. I especially LOVE your jeans. It's so hard to find nice fitting high waist-ed jeans. =)

I wouldn't call this a "throw away outfit"! I love it. It's casual chic. The colors all compliment one another and you look comfortable! Those are all positives in my book!

You are totally channeling Wes Anderson's utter coolness in this outfit. The high-waisted jeans, cardigan, and sunglasses are just perfect together! :)
Yes!!! THat is exactly how those shades look. Great outfit. Really shows how a little touch can pep up what we wear.

I love the checks with the cardigan and the whole silhouette. The sunnies look cool.
You look hot in this look. And you rocked those shades! I am especially jealous of those olive booties. The studs on the front is the perfect detail.

I think this is a great look! The belt on the high waisted pants is quite flattering.

Yeeessss, Darjeeling Limited/Adrien Brody reference. I love it and this look. I love how it was originally a throwaway outfit, but I actually like it a lot, too! I'm even sensing a bit of 70s vagabond/ish/sure here. :)
