One of the trends I'm loving most for spring is color blocking! It seems like this style has had a few moments in the spotlight over the past several years, but this is the first time I've really wanted to wear it. While it can be a tricky look to pull off, it's really striking and fun when it works.
While getting ready to go out on Saturday night, I found myself in the mood for something bold and reached for a couple of my brightest separates. Since the colors were so contrasting, I kept the look simple with neutral shoes and no accessories. I love the way it came together can't wait to try a more tonal look next time. Will you try the color blocking trend this season?
I'm loving the color blocking trend, too! You look great!
ReplyDeleteI think I'm afraid of color blocking... I've limited my wardrobe to neutrals and only a few colors, which is usually how I think about putting outfits together. Wearing a bright color with another bright color is totally foreign to me, so I don't know if I'll embrace this trend... But I like how you've paired this together!
ReplyDeleteaw super duper cute! I've just discovered I don't own enough colorful clothes ;) Color blocking is less interesting in shades of gray...
ReplyDeleteI tried color blocking over the weekend, too. This is perfectly done, my friend!
ReplyDeleteI will definitely be trying the color blocking trend. I need to add some bright colors to my wardrobe. :)

ReplyDeleteHonestly, I LOVE color blocking on other people, but I so rarely wear bright colors that I'm afraid I'd be uncomfortable with it if I tried now.
