Dress: Urban Outfitters, $10 // Shoes: Dolce Vita via Gilt, purchased with credit // Necklace: Forever 21, $9
I have a funny relationship with the color black. We've had our ups and downs, but we're in a good, healthy place now. I went through a phase in high school in which I only wore black t-shirts (with jeans and black Converse). Then there were a few years when I was convinced that black looked awful on me because of my coloring, and I could only wear warm colors. These days I tend to wear black in small doses. While this colorless combination is a bit unusual for me, sometimes all black just feels right. One thing is for sure, it'll never go out of style.
The back of this dress is quite adorable!

ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous dress! I love your sandals, and I love how that necklace adds a little bit of goth to an otherwise sexy look.
ReplyDeleteYour relationship with black is so similar to mine! Only I remain convinced I look terrible in it. Which I do, there's photographic evidence. :)
ReplyDeleteBut you look fantastic. I love the draping!

The way you wear black with your blond short cut makes it so chic and gorgeous!! Love it.
ReplyDeleteI'm also pale, so when I wear all back I generally add a pop of color (belt, necklace etc). But you look great here!

ReplyDeleteWith your haircut and the silhouette of that black dress, I'm getting the the slightest bit of 20s vampy vibe here... and I so dig it! Also, is that a shoulder tattoo I spy? :)
