Anything but Ordinary

Blouse: Urban Outfitters, $10 // Skirt: Urban Outfitters, $5 // Shoes: Forever 21, $25 // Scarf: Swapped with Kendi // Ring: Courtesy of Accessorize

While this look is made up of basics, the little details make it feel special. The paper-bag waist of the denim skirt and pleated collar of the white button-up add interest to the silhouette, and sky-high floral platform wedges certainly don't hurt! Happy Friday, everyone!

REally cute outfit. I really like the scarf. Do you have any tutorials on how to tie the scarf?

A very cute look! Yes, the basic pieces really help to create a canvas for the subtle details and accessories to stand out. I especially adore the shoes - a very feminine touch. And the head wrap adds a great pop of color! I might have to try someone like that sometime.

I love the basics of this outfit, but you're right that the scarf and shoes make it that much more fun! Hmm, I wonder if I can still find those shoes at F21? I forgot how much I loved those!

Love this look. Thanks for the inspiration; I was thinking I wanted to wear a white oxford this week - now I know what to pair it with.

Love how you styled this fall-looking headscarf, Katy! I live in Indiana and I can’t wait for fall again so I can wear my scarves. :) I also found a really cool site on StumbleUpon on how to wear a scarf 37 different ways–

There are also some pretty cool fall scarves on there. :)
