LuLu*s Party Contest!


LuLu*s Party Set


Kansas Couture is teaming up with LuLu*s to bring you a fabulously festive contest that is all about you! Imagine there's a party being thrown in your honor. What would you wear? It doesn't have to be fancy, just something that captures your personal style and would make you feel amazing.

To enter the challenge, create a look with Polyvore using only items from LuLu*s and leave a link to your set in a comment on this post. The LuLu*s ladies and I will select our favorite entry, and the winner will receive a $50 credit to LuLu*s! You have until midnight central time on Wednesday, July 27th to enter.     I don't get fancy very often, so when it's a special occasion (like mah birthday!) I like to get dressed up and go dance. You can view my birthday outfit here. I love the chunky leopard wedges and bright coral dress. So fun!

    Perfect for a summer party--indoor or outdoor! I love the bright pop of yellow paired with the chunky cork leopard wedges. The dress is easy, breezy, and perfect for summer. I like a pretty, non-fuss outfit that is bold but not overdone.

    I look the best in dark colors (black is always classy) and the swirling structure of the dress is very flowy and whimsical. The silver shoes add a nice contrast the dress- I picked flat slip-ons to accompany the heels because they are much easier to dance in! And the stone necklace and clutch add nice accents to the black and metallic color scheme.

    I think my outfit is perfect for a school dance like homecoming! It's bold and fun but still understated and elegant. I chose pretty yellow cocktail dress and added a pair of teal heels to play up the color of the dress. Then, I took lots of pretty, girly pieces such as flower-shaped rings and clutch with a bow to up the femininity of the dress. I think its the perfect look for a party.

    I love taking a girly outfit and making it edgy. Simply adding a jacket can change a whole look.

    I tend to have a monochromatic wardrobe, but like to use accessories to add pops of color. I also would add a red skinny belt to complete the look.
