Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween, everyone! As you may remember from last year, I love dressing up as movie characters because it combines two of my greatest loves in life: film and fashion. Black Swan was definitely one of the creepiest (yet prettiest) roles this past year, so it seemed a perfect choice. It was an understandably popular costume this year, and I really enjoyed seeing how different people interpreted the look.

In keeping with the cinematic theme, my boyfriend went as Driver from Drive. I got to add the scorpion to his jacket, a fun project that made me miss doing art!

Igby went with a simple costume this year because he hates wearing clothes.

Did you dress up?

This is easily the best interpretation I've seen yet! Awesome!

Great job!

I went as April O'Neil from the ninja turtles, though it lacked the effort I usually put it. October was too busy!

Oh my word, this is the COOLEST costume ever! :D I used to be a professional classical ballet dancer, so it just did my heart good to see that lovely tutu.

everyone's spending time talking about your costume, which is awesome by the way, but what about Igby's?!

He looked so sad while he was wearing it :( My dog isn't a fan of clothes either.

Janet -

He was sad wearing it! At first he goes crazy trying to get it off, and when he realizes it's futile, he sulks. I don't have the heart to leave clothes on him for very long. :)

The Black Swan outfit was beautifully done! I love all the detail - you did such a good job capturing the costume! Definitely one of my favorite blogger Halloween costumes I have seen this week. It's dramatic and beautiful. Love it!

Your costume is spot on. Wow. My little puppy had the same costume this year. She surprisingly didn't mind it too much so I may go all out on her next year :)
