I'm glad the peplum is enjoying popularity this season. It makes for such a pretty a silhouette. Unfortunately I don't have very many peplum pieces in my closet, so I grabbed a boxy blouse with a ruffled hem, belted it and poof! Worked like a charm. On another note, this outfit made me realize how seldom I wear flats. It felt downright strange!
Your shirt is perfect! A bit different from the normal peplum shirts and the colour is amazing!

ReplyDeleteThe peplum absolutely terrifies me because i carry my extra weight around my middle. Maybe I'll try your DIY approach to see how it looks on me.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I will be in Lawrence this weekend with my hubby just to hang out and eat Indian food (hopefully the restaurant we went to years ago is still open). Any suggestions as to where to shop and eat?
