Wintry Conditions

Thanks to two blizzards in one week, I've spent more than my fair share of time in leggings, sweaters and wellies! As beautiful as the fallen snow looks and as nice as it has been to hunker down in my cozy apartment with my pug, I am looking forward to wearing proper shoes again sometime soon.

Spring Cleaning

With a huge winter storm on the way, it feels a little funny thinking about spring, but I can't seem to help myself. I've been focusing on decorating and reorganizing my apartment lately, and I'm hoping this bout of spring cleaning will carry over to my closet. It could use a big purge! Happy Valentine's Day!

As you probably already know, I'm a big dork when it comes to holidays, and this lovey dovey occasion is no exception. Today I'm donning my most heart-filled dress and red accessories to match. Though it did make a little appearance in my last post and on Instagram, I also thought it was the perfect opportunity to give my new tattoo a proper debut. I snagged these shorts a couple of years ago on super sale and had somehow never worn them! They were hiding in the trunk of my car. I suppose that's one of the perks of having an embarrassingly messy vehicle... you're bound to find buried treasure every once in awhile. At least that's what I'm going to tell myself!

This cozy, oversized scarf in my all-time favorite color was just what I needed to make an otherwise average outfit feel special. It has also helped to quiet my impatient yearning for spring. As long as winter lingers, I get to wear it!

Hey guys! I just wanted to apologize for the lack of updates lately. When it rains it pours, and I'm dealing with a number of obstacles right now. Thank you for sticking around. I promise I'll be back to normal before too long. Oh, and Igby says hi!

Sunny Disposition

It's February in the Midwest, so I really shouldn't be surprised, but man is it cold outside! I'm having a hard time putting together cute outfits and an even harder time forcing myself to go outside for pictures! The sunny pops of color in this outfit are helping my state of mind. Plus, more moderate weather is on the horizon, and the weekend is here! No room for complaints.
