That '70s Shirt

I have such a soft spot for colorful, kaleidoscopic prints. While I somehow managed to pass this shirt up when it was originally at Target, I knew it had to be mine when I spotted it at a thrift store.

Sweet Relief

Last weekend we had a day of glorious sweatshirt weather. After weeks of heat, it was a lovely respite. At the risk of sounding like a cliche, I have been snatching clothes from my boyfriend's dresser a lot lately, and he may not see this shirt for awhile...

It doesn't get any more basic than this casual get-up, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Also, can we talk about the wallet impression on these shorts? I wonder how many years some dude kept his wallet in that pocket.

I know, I know. I've featured this t-shirt a lot on the blog, but I can't deny its heavy rotation in my wardrobe. Here I've classed it up with all black and heeled sandals. Who knew a Ghostbusters shirt could be so versatile? ;)

Summer Bummer

It has been HOT, HOT, HOT! Coming from the Midwest, you'd think I'd be tough when it comes to summer temps, but I'm a big baby about it these days. All I want to wear is easy breezy outfits like this - a loose, flowing top and comfy shorts and sandals. I made the tough call of cutting my vintage Levi 501s into shorts recently, but it had to happen. The weather made me do it!
